Project description:

Reconstruction of the existing steam boiler room as part of the project “Energy renovation of the Dr. Tomislav Bardek Hospital in Koprivnica”. Design and construction of power distribution cabinets for controlling the boiler room’s steam and hot-water block.

The new boiler room system will have three independent blocks with app. 5.5 MW total power and 2x1.7 t/h process steam ensuring safety and reliability of thermal energy supply to devices that use process steam, for heating areas and preparing domestic hot water. The risks of boiler room operation will be significantly mitigated because the new system will enable the operation of each boiler individually and of each boiler block as a unit, and, in extraordinary circumstances, the steam plant can be used to heat the area.

 

Objective of the project:

To increase energy efficiency, save on energy consumption, and reduce heating costs and CO2 emissions.
